Full Stack Developer

Full Time / Remote

Dumbstruck is an advanced emotion analytics company that uses AI-powered facial coding technology to measure the emotional and behavioral impact that video advertisements have on consumers. We work closely with global brands and agencies, giving them the ability to make better informed creative and media decisions that lead to significantly more effective advertising campaigns.

This position will play a critical role in developing both internal and client-facing web applications as we continue to increase scalability and grow our product offerings. We are looking for someone who is able to easily collaborate/communicate with the team and can execute both back-end and front-end development in a semi-autonomous fashion.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new web applications and maintain/improve existing web applications using primarily AngularJS and Java
  • Collaborate with team to architect and plan for efficiency and scalability of applications being developed
  • Design and maintain relational database schemas

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4+ years of full stack development experience
  • Expert with Javascript/Typescript
  • Expert with Java (or similar object-oriented language)
  • Experience working with AngularJS (or similar JS framework)
  • Experience with relational database administration and schema design (MySQL or similar)
  • Willingness to work with the team to plan out development cycles and then require little need for oversight to accomplish tasks/goals.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
